Thank you for choosing adoption and making a difference in the lives of our rescue cats! Adoptions not only save their lives but also open valuable space for us to save another.
Let’s talk adoptions!

All adoptable cats are neutered or spayed, vaccinated and microchipped, and treated for fleas, ticks, and parasites before adoption.  To see available cats you can visit our available cats tab. All our cats are unique, please read their bio carefully and if you’re unsure who might be the best fit please contact us directly so we may help you find an appropriate match.

When you’re ready, please complete an application form for the rescue to review.

A special thanks to our partners like Pet Valu and Barrkhaven Pet Boutique & Spaw who feature our adoptables and give them a safe place to meet new families!

Tips for completing the adoption application:
  1. Fill out all sections, especially references as that is important for us to approve an application.

  2. Be honest. We don’t mind if you live in an apartment or already own 3 cats we just want to ensure the fit is right for everyone & the adoption is a success. Don’t have a vet yet? No problem! We can help you find one if needed or tell you who may be accepting patients.

  3. Tell us about yourself. There’s a section on the application to let us know who you are. It really does help us see who’s behind the application.

  4. Be patient and let your references know we will contact them. Sometimes applications can take days or even a week to process when we cannot reach them.

Why didn’t I get selected?

Our cats & kittens receive many applications and sometimes we have to let down even the most incredible applicants. While this is great news for our cats, we know sometimes it can lead to disappointment when your application isn’t selected. We do not process our applications by first come/first served but by best fit for that particular cat. We hate to let anyone down but our ultimate goal is a successful forever adoption:

Here are some reasons you may not have been selected:

  • The particular cat you are applying for would do best in a different environment (I.e. with another younger cat in the home, a busy environment with children, a quieter home, etc.) This doesn’t mean you aren’t amazing! It just means the cat may be better suited to a different home. Keep your application open with us and the right fit may come along!

  • You didn’t complete the application or provide all the necessary information.

  • You or your references did not respond to our adoption team.
